David and Jonathan

Nov 28, 2021

Read: 1 Samuel 16:15-23, 18:1-4, 19:1-7
King Saul was often troubled, and needed someone to play the harp to calm him. King Saul's servants knew of someone who could play and it was David. During that time Jonathan, King Saul's son, struck up a friendship with David. This friendship lasted years and it was built on the kindness they showed each other. They were super close and trusted each other with their lives! You can be a good friend too, and it starts with being kind! This week pray and ask God to help you be a good friend, and to have good friends in your life! Remember God loves you so much!
Our memory verse this week is:
"A friend loves at all times." Proverbs 17:17
